Division of Parks, Forest Farms and Scenic Spots


The functions of the Division of Parks, Forest Farms and Scenic Spots are as follows: to organize in drawing up the development plans of the scenic spots and parks, and to bring them into implementation; to put forward construction plan and development policy proposals for forest farms and nurseries, and to implement them; to formulate the management criteria and norms of scenic spots and parks; to fulfill the requirements-meeting procedures for newly built parks; to carry out the management work on investigation and evaluation of scenic spots; to be in charge of application work so as to bring some scenic spots into the World Heritage listings; to provide supervision and guidance for the construction and management of scenic spots and parks; to be responsible for the management of forest farms and nurseries as well as working safety; and to be in charge of administrative licensing work in relation to scenic spots and parks.
