Division of Wildlife Conservation


    The functions of the Division of Wildlife Conservation are as follows: to work out the development plans for nature reserves and to bring them into implementation; to undertake survey and evaluation of nature reserves, and to make proposals for some areas to be classified as nature reserves; to provide supervision and guidance for the construction and management of nature reserves; to provide supervision and guidance for the protection of wild fauna and flora as well as ancient and rare trees; to put forward the directory of the most important terrestrial wild fauna and flora species; to be responsible for wild birds migration monitoring; to be in charge of the survey and management of ancient and rare trees; to be responsible for collecting and managing the fees on wildlife conservation and management; and to be in charge of the administrative licensing work in relation to nature reserves and wildlife conservation.
